My husband and I have five adult children. Two of them are distancing themselves from us over politics. They have become unusually harsh and critical with us and it is almost unbelievable. Our oldest is Luke. He is married with four daughters and is threatening to move out of the country to distance himself from this country and from us. He served his country in the Air Force and is very upset over this administration. Our second oldest, Erin, has gone through a deconstruction of her faith over the past two years and she has become acutely critical of us. She used to sing on a worship team and we were close. This is a pain that feels like death (we lost our first little girl at age 14 months after open heart surgery). But this is death of relationship and it is rejection. Please pray that God in His mercy will interrupt what is happening and that all involved will humble themselves…… Thank you very much.
