Several years ago we asked for prayer for our daughter Katie who had run off with a married man. She now has two children with him. She contacted us by email last month, a very cold email, wanting to know what we saw as her “exact Biblical error,” and “what you expect rectification of that to look like.” We responded with mostly Scripture, to which she responded with a lengthy email, denying any wrongdoing, justifying herself at every turn and twisting Scripture to excuse herself. We feel we must respond, that God has opened up this opportunity, but she is obviously not open to hearing truth. Please pray that we will respond in a right spirit, “with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition.” Please pray that the blinders will come off, and the chains with which she is bound.
