Our son Beckett (age 16) is experiencing same sex attraction. Initially it was unwanted and he was asking God for help. This went on for about 2 years and he just recently told us about it. Because he felt God wasn’t answering him or taking it away he now feels as though he is gay and that living that way is the only way he can be happy and find relationship as an adult. I think he is still wrestling with God about all of this but it has caused a lot of spiritual questions for a kid raised in the church. We are asking God to keep his heart soft, to meet him where he is, to help guide him to Truth and ultimately would love for God to remove this SSA from his life. We want to see him fully living for Christ with a deepened and stronger faith.
